GFFT and a Thirst Creating Saturday

As the song goes, the kids are alright. While maybe not going as big as last week’s Dew Tour, the talent and heart was just as impressive. If there was a disappointment, it was that the slopestyle course was tucked away in the upper part of Dreamweaver. Great spot, yes. On the other hand, a little bit of signage probably would have went a long way to drawing some attention to the raw young talent who came to compete.

After taking in some GFFT, it was time to do a mini-Spotlight on the new Vista View Deck. To get to VVD just follow Great Eastern and it’s just past where Great Eastern and Cruise Control meet. What a great spot to stop and just chill while you soak up some sun, conversation and one heck of a view. Kudos to Killington Resort for creating such a moment. Hopefully the VVD will be accessible in the summer as well. Just be aware that there are no rest rooms and food & bev is cash only. There are some shots in the slideshow from VVD as  well. Enjoy!

FYI :: Due to a last might minute scheduling commitment, a slight shift in the GTTF events schedule on Sunday, and the lack of an assistant’s press pass, KYR was unable to cover GFFT – Day 2.
