The Return of Rick Redington & The Luv

Thursday 13 January 2011 will witness the triumphant return of local guitar hero Rick Redington and his partners in creative musical crime, The Luv to the Wobbly Barn (on the Killington access road).

Rick Redington and The Luv (Live at the Paramount in Rutland, Vt)This appearance is long over due and has been nearly a year in the making. Rick, a longtime Killington staple, will be joined by bassist Heather Lynne and drummer Blake Gowan. Collectively known as Rick Redingon & The Luv, they have inspired crowds throughout Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut and even New Jersey. Whether it’s a smaller out of the way venue or a large festival hundreds deep, they know how to spread The Luv.

“Killington is where our family of friends are and we are ecstatic about coming home to play,” says the veteran of class Mr. Redington.

If you’re within an hour of Killington this is a must see show with a sure to be Luv struck crowd. As the song goes, “All we need is Luv…” And who can argue with that?

This is a 21 & Up event. Show starts around 9:30pm.

And look for an interview with Rick on KYR early next week some time prior to this gig. How sweet is that?
