Snowmont 2012 is Canceled

The following letter was pulled off the SnowMont Music Festival’s Facebook page. For what it’s worth, we’re still going to run the interviews we have with some of the artists. The artist took the time and therefore deserve the exposure.

Here’s the letter:

Dear SnowMonters,

It is with heavy regret we announced today that the SnowMont Music Festival has been cancelled indefinitely due to the event’s lack of demand. As the visionaries of this event, we can assure you that we are just as dissapointed to tell you this news as you are to hear it, and we thoroughly sympathize with your disappointment.

If you have previously purchased tickets for the festival, you can expect a full refund of your original purchase price within seven to 10 business days. Refunds are automatic, so there is no need to do anything else.

We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding throughout the refund process. We will work swiftly to ensure that your refund gets to you in a timely manner.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are true music fans, just like you, and we are burdened by the cancellation of our event. We hope you can respect the level of consideration that went into making this decision. We thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
The SnowMont Music Festival
