Whether it’s emails or Facebook messages, the question that comes up the most often the last last couple weeks isn’t “Will it be Mitt?” or “When will Linsanity end?” or even “Why can’t the Pats beat the Giants?”. The question that keeps repeating is: “Is there snow up there?” And the answer? Oh yes. Come get some. There’s plenty to go around.
For those of you who may still be in doubt, here’s a cross section of shots from earlier today (Friday 17 February). Truthfully, there are some dicey spots here and there but they’re minimal—at least they were mid-afternoon today. So aside from the expected occasional mid-February flaws, the Resort’s mountain-ops has done an exceptional job in spite of Mother Nature’s stinginess so far this year. Maybe next year mountain-ops should handle the marketing as well?
